The Nelson LC staff has a combined history of more than 40 years in development and production of modular buildings and special vehicles.
Nelson LC was formed in 1998 to pursue new technologies in classroom additions for a very fast growing student population to the Florida School Systems. The pre-engineered and pre-cast system was twice as fast, and much stronger than conventional systems being used. This lead to the development in 1999 of one of the first re-locatable concrete classrooms.
In 2003, Nelson started a new venture and began design on a new lightweight penalized building. Using a new innovative insert and receiver system for production, transport and installation; the building was put in to production in 2004. It is currently the standard by which re-locatable classrooms are built. This innovative design eliminated the need for large separation between buildings and eliminated the need for stairs and ramps.
In 2006 an idea to address the concerns of the construction industry for employees commuting to and from remote construction projects, this product was named JOB SITE SUITES. From there other designs were created to solve the same issues for other industries such as LAW ENFORCEMENT, ENTERTAINMENT, DISASTER RELIEF, and RACING SUPPORT PRODUCTS.
After more than a year in development the new product lines are in production and will solve the high liabilities, inefficiencies, and safety of remote working crews across America and abroad.
